Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Sir Bryan’s Pharmacy Is Your Health Defender In Enterprise!

Sometimes to find a something new and fresh you have to look to the past. Bryan Pharmacy was ready for a campaign overhaul after their Award-Winning Ninja Campaign. We knew they wanted something epic, and nothing quite compares to the legendary tales of knights fighting monsters and saving the everyday folk. From this spark of idea came, Sir Bryan the Defender of your Health.   After the initial concept came together and our client gave their support, we were able to expand upon the idea. The knights of old defended the greatest treasures as well, none greater than the legendary Holy Grail, a symbol of purity and an icon of greatness. Bryan Pharmacy is not only a defender but a pinnacle of health care. Also, the imagery of a grail as a mortar and pestle goes hand-in-hand.   After we established the Holy Grail as a major symbol in the campaign we also circled back to the image of knight, valiantly fighting against disease, discomfort, and the high prices and wait times of big chains. We wanted the owner, Brett Bryan, to be introduced as Sir Bryan, with an illustrated portrait of him as the Health Defender. We also found we could include a sword that would stand below the billboard on the billboard’s pole. Another message that Bryan Pharmacy prides themselves in, is their competitive prices against the big chains. To fit the medieval fantasy theme, we placed the big chains as a monster to be slain by your local pharmacy defenders. Altogether, this project was a great exploration of how local businesses can become larger than life and stand strong against the onslaught of big chains and outside influence. Bryan Pharmacy has been in business since 2003, but they continue a tradition of fighting against sickness that has only grown over the centuries. Behind the Scenes: “Eye Wear Denney” Billboard Campaign

Team Durden recently partnered up with our longtime friends and client, Denney Vision to create an eye catching billboard campaign. The client wanted something that really stood out and was different from other eye care billboards but to also keep consistency with using the “Eye Wear Denney” campaign that we had been running. Together, we were able to come up with an eye-popping bulletin campaign using high intensity reflective vinyl on the lense of the glasses. The Durden Outdoor creative team designed three different eye catching billboards that were installed in Dothan, AL. The #FamousMakers at Durden Outdoor located in Southeast Alabama have always contended to be professional paraphrasers.  We have a general rule to keep a headline shorter than 7 words as we only have 8-10 seconds to get our point across.  While working on a new 2016-17 creative theme for one of our favorite clients, we achieved this goal…….plus we were able to add one new creative element on a billboard to push it over the top! Attorney Credits Billboards for 60% Increase

Melissa L. Isaak is the attorney that founded Isaak Law Firm. Her firm is the largest in the area that specializes in divorce for men.  She fights for equality in family law, specifically for fathers. She has been practicing law since 2009. In early 2016 Melissa opened her third firm location in Enterprise, AL. She credits a whopping 60% of her business in the Enterprise area to her billboard campaign with Durden Outdoor. National Peanut Festival Highlighted in Durden’s Hall of Fame

National Peanut Festival 2012 • November 2nd – November 11th in Dothan, Alabama

Each week Durden Outdoor highlights the valuable service of our advertisers. This week’s ray of fame shines on the National Peanut Festival. Its Peanut Pickin’ Time! The farmers have harvested their peanuts and it is time to celebrate! The 69th annual National Peanut Festival will kick off this Friday, November 2nd at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds. The National Peanut Festival partners with Durden Outdoor Displays, Inc. each year to promote the weeklong festival. They utilize 4 Week Rotary Boards and Digital Displays to saturate Dothan and surrounding markets. The simple yet effective creative is eye catching with bright colors to announce the dates of the festival. We were also able to customize Digital ads to promote each day’s events and entertainment. People travel from all over the tri-state area to attend the weeklong festival. This year’s festival will include live performances by the Charlie Daniels Band and Eli Young Band. The popular Sea Lion Splash will be returning and is promising to be a crowd pleaser. Be sure to stop by the Eudora Farms petting zoo and let the kids get an up close glance at chickens, goats, and pigs to name a few. After checking out the agriculture exhibits, hit the Midway which will have rides sure to make you scream! From corndogs to elephant ears there will be plenty of food to enjoy while browsing all the booths and exhibits. Don’t forget to stop by the Winn-Dixie Ag complex to see the Livestock shows and you will not want to miss the Greased Pig & Calf scramble contests on Monday night. While at the NPF you might even get a glimpse of royalty! The Miss & Little Miss National Peanut Festival were held only a few weeks before the festival. Miss National Peanut Festival, Whitney Devane, and Little Miss National Peanut Festival, Emily Turner, will be attending daily events as they are the ambassadors for this year’s event. national-peanutGate and Ride tickets can be purchased in advance at the NPF Fairgrounds. This year they have the MegaPass! It includes (1) admission ticket and (1) Armband that may be used for any one day of the festival. Healthy Woman Event is Durden’s Advertiser of the Week

The Healthy Woman Program is a community system that is sponsored by Medical Center Enterprise and designed to empower women with the confidence to make informed health care decisions for themselves and their family. Medical Center Enterprise’s Healthy Woman chapter plans to celebrate its 4th anniversary with a special event on October 4th at The Enterprise Civic Center! The keynote speaker is Ali Vincent, first female winner from the hit TV show “The Biggest  Loser”. This dinner event is from 6-8:30pm and will feature entertainment from the ESCC Entertainers, singing waiters, a fun photo booth, and more. Michelle’s Restaurant Durden Advertiser of the Week

Each week, Durden Outdoor Displays highlights the valuable services of our advertisers. The advertiser of this week is Michelle’s Restaurant which is located in Georgetown, Georgia.  It is located just after crossing into the state of Georgia by way of a bridge linking Eufaula, Alabama and Georgetown, Georgia. Michelle’s offers a seafood buffet on Friday & Saturday nights and lunch buffet from Sunday through Thursday. Michelle’s came to Durden to help increase Eufaula & outside traffic into their restaurant. With the help of Durden’s Creative Department Michelle’s was pleased with its own original southern themed design that captured the essence of what Michelle’s Restaurant was about, southern cooking at its finest.
“Since the billboard has gone up we have seen a tremendous increase of Eufaula locals, whom never knew we were just across the bridge in Georgetown. We’ve also had a lot of positive comments on the billboard,” says Mr Perryman, owner.
At the entrance way of Eufaula’s Historic District, which catches through and local traffic, you can find their 10’ x 42’ Bulletin Billboard. So, next time your passing through Eufaula, Alabama swing by Michelle’s Restaurant to enjoy some southern comfort food and tell them Durden sent ya!!
