Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Sir Bryan’s Pharmacy Is Your Health Defender In Enterprise!

Sometimes to find a something new and fresh you have to look to the past. Bryan Pharmacy was ready for a campaign overhaul after their Award-Winning Ninja Campaign. We knew they wanted something epic, and nothing quite compares to the legendary tales of knights fighting monsters and saving the everyday folk. From this spark of idea came, Sir Bryan the Defender of your Health.   After the initial concept came together and our client gave their support, we were able to expand upon the idea. The knights of old defended the greatest treasures as well, none greater than the legendary Holy Grail, a symbol of purity and an icon of greatness. Bryan Pharmacy is not only a defender but a pinnacle of health care. Also, the imagery of a grail as a mortar and pestle goes hand-in-hand.   After we established the Holy Grail as a major symbol in the campaign we also circled back to the image of knight, valiantly fighting against disease, discomfort, and the high prices and wait times of big chains. We wanted the owner, Brett Bryan, to be introduced as Sir Bryan, with an illustrated portrait of him as the Health Defender. We also found we could include a sword that would stand below the billboard on the billboard’s pole. Another message that Bryan Pharmacy prides themselves in, is their competitive prices against the big chains. To fit the medieval fantasy theme, we placed the big chains as a monster to be slain by your local pharmacy defenders. Altogether, this project was a great exploration of how local businesses can become larger than life and stand strong against the onslaught of big chains and outside influence. Bryan Pharmacy has been in business since 2003, but they continue a tradition of fighting against sickness that has only grown over the centuries. Have you ever opened your web browser only to be bombarded with an instant barrage of ads? Pop-ups, videos, and surveys all fighting for your attention trying to drive traffic to their website. IAMCFCU Utilizes Outdoor Advertising to Boost Membership

Spotlight: National Peanut Festival Pageant Billboards

As the days grow shorter, peanuts aren’t the only thing popping up around the Wiregrass! Each year in the days leading up to the National Peanut Festival Pageant, residents see the faces of local pageant queens pop up on billboards seemingly overnight. Since the crowning of the first queen in 1938, the Festival’s pageant has been a huge draw for spectators and participants alike. Contestants are reserved for girls who have won qualified preliminary pageants in peanut producing areas of Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

HI-YAAAH! Durden Outdoor Displays, Inc. and Bryan Pharmacy have teamed up again to roundhouse kick bland billboards to the curb. We are constantly looking to push the outdoor advertising envelope and Bryan Pharmacy is always more than willing to join in. For their new campaign, we agreed on an action-packed series of digital creative, rotary posters and 3-D bulletins that convey the ninja-like skills of the Bryan Pharmacy team. These guys karate-chop wait times, beat big-chain prices and offer 5 star ninja customer service. Durden Outdoor’s creative team had a blast building an entire campaign revolving around the concept of stealthy little pharmacy ninjas. However, these ideas and sketches would never be able to get off of the ground (literally) without the Durden production team. These guys are 3-D geniuses and never back down from a challenge. Even a 12 foot ninja-star sized challenge! From concept, to rough drafts, to 3-D building logistics, this campaign is further proof that all departments at Durden Outdoor are utilized to breathe life into the outdoor landscape and provide eye-catching marketing solutions for our clients.

Behind the Scenes: 3D Billboards

Clients are always looking for the best way to stand out from the crowd. Take a look behind the curtain to see how we bring a new dimension to billboard design.

As with all of our billboards, it all starts with an idea. Our creative department is more than happy to sketch out a design with any 3D embellishments the clients want or their muses inspire. Fortunately, this is followed by a meeting between the creative team and the production team, who help bring these wild concepts back down to Earth. They confirm if the embellishments are feasible to build, follow construction codes for outdoor advertising, and with discussions, with the sales team as well, find the budget for the build to fit with the client’s needs. Once the discussions are finished, the real magic begins.

Our production team is highly talented and capable of producing almost all of our 3D embellishments in house. After the plans for the embellishment are approved, and the supplies gathered, the team gets to work. With their supplies and skills at hand our team can create great objects from a giant nail or saw blade, to a functioning car door. Depending on the complexity of the project and the supplies and testing needed, the embellishment can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.
